Time flies!
I have been reminded that I haven’t made a post since Easter. Why you ask? Well, I just get consumed by Facebook and don’t remember to make a post. I know I put pictures on fb but there are some friends and family that aren’t on there and want to see a little more info. There are also friend (ie- Molly) that are on fb book but just like to look at the blog too which is fun.
So since Easter we have been to the beach and have just been almost constantly outside. If Nate had his way he would go straight outside the minute he wakes up (sometimes at 6:30 even with blackout curtains) and would stay out there all day! He wants to play “bolf”, “ball”, or “pool”. I have loved the warm weather and realized how much the he cold was wearing on me.
Visit with Caia when Amy was in town… Don’t be surprised but we went to Moes.

The morning reveal of his new Thomas table… he didn’t even want to eat breakfast.

Our friend across the street that is gone for the summer. We are missing her:)

The beach. We went so early in the summer that it makes me ready to go back.

Easter!
What a great weekend! We had an indoor easter egg hunt at our friends house bc of the nasty weather on Friday then went to the Good Friday service that night. It is my favorite service of the year. I was sitting on the aisle and looked over at a little boy that was in the aisle in his wheelchair. I think he is about 7 years old and has cerebal palsy. I don’t know his family but see them around church. During worship his Mom picked him up out of his chair and just held him and sang to him. I just cried as I watched her hold his weak little body and love on him. It was such a powerful moment to think about God holding his Son’s broken body like that after the cross. It made me want to hold my own baby right at that moment. Thank you God for your sacrifice.
Here are some of our Easter day pictures in the beautiful weather. Thank goodness the rain stopped! He is sooooo on the move that there was no stopping and posing for any pictures.

Buddies
Nate and I had a fun afternoon the other day with our friends Mack and Kimberly. The boys were born on the same day, maybe an hour or so apart, and just a few doors down in the same hospital. Kimberly and I are friends from college and joked about them being born on the same day while we were pregnant. It happened and now we always laugh about it in disbelief. It is a fun little bond for us and our boys as we get to watch them grow.

Hold the phone!
The phone is our new obsession these days. Well, golf (aka- bolf) and guitar are also way up there. However…a phone is pure entertainment. Nate doesn’t discriminate against any phone and loves everything from the iphone (of course) to just the regular old cordless.
Not sure where he would have picked this up but he really likes to just walk around the house or sit in his car talking to “Nama” (nanmommy).

Thirtysomething…
It has been a good birthday weekend. Good food, family, and lots of greetings from sweet friends. Tyler put together a fun surprise for me that took a lot of time and thought. What a thoughtful husband:) I love him.
Birthday dinner…
Nate and my nieces…

I wear my sunglasses…

Nate has a new love for his sunglasses from last year. I am surprised they still fit his head. He likes to wear them when eating, watching tv, riding in the car, and guess when his Daddy lets him play with a screwdriver.
Big Rig
I didn’t have any change to put in this thing but Nate had no idea and was entertained for a long time! I can’t imagine how excited he is going to be when we actually turn it on next time:)

Well…hello
Hello to my four faithful readers! My blog has been sorely neglected. I actually had to check back to see what I posted last because it has been so long. We have been hibernating and waiting for the warm weather. Thank goodness that day light savings is around the corner!
Nate is now 18 months and super super busy. He is closer to the size of a two year old. I think he likes to make up different laughs like I do because he has a new one every day. It makes me laugh until i have tears in my eyes. He is looking kind of serious in this picture though. Sweet boy!

We went to Athens last weekend to visit some friends and just have a change of scenery. It was nasty weather but a really fun visit. Much different get togethers than we use to have in college. We laughed that we were worn out and heading back to the hotel at almost 9pm.

I won’t be so delinquent with another post! Keep reading:)
