End of summer?

Labor Day marks the official end of summer (which makes more sense in New England where kids don’t go back to school until after Labor Day) even though the temperature doesn’t fall for a few more weeks. It really did seemed like a turning point this weekend. There was the first Georgia game which is always a great catapult into fall and then our pool closed which clearly says summer is over. We had plans for this weekend that changed at the last minute but it turned into a fun and relaxing weekend despite our occasional moans of boredom.

It is exciting to look into the fall as we hang on to the the end of summer at least for a little while longer

What are your favorite things about fall or your favorite fall traditions?

we love to go to the pumpkin farms and go on the hayrides. when i was little, i loved jumping in the leaves . . . we don’t have enough trees in our yard to do that now! :)

Since our move from Georgia to Massachusetts, we’ve fallen in LOVE with the fall here. The leaves changing. The colors. The crisp air. It’s magical!!!
