Everyday Carrie

Memorial Day really did seem to kick off the summer! Tyler has been out of the country so we headed to my parents. I have been sick with strep throat- ugh- but have had a fun weekend despite the repeat sickness. We had a great time sitting on the porch, practicing walking, playing sooo hard, shopping and eating really good:)

I say this every month but I can’t believe it! 9 months today!!! He is scooting around furniture so fast that he is about to take off. Yesterday he pulled his hands off to try and stand by himself but just laughs and grabs on again real quick. He is climbing stairs too and just on the move! He is complete entertainment!

That is what we like to call ourselves so we said goodbye to the Jeep and bought a bigger SUV. More gallons of gas for more space. The mpgs are actually the same. I remind myself of that so that I don’t pass out when go to fill it up. Wow! That is so green of you- I can hear what you are all saying-but it  is cozy and has air conditioning that works. Does this hurt our “carbon footprint”?

Okay. I said that I would never buy Crocs. I am picky about shoes just didn’t really like them. Sure they are comfortable and all. Then I saw these and thought that I would like to have some to sit by the door to take the dog out, get the mail or whatever. I have had these for a couple months now and could wear them everyday. I think I need another color! I eat my words of never.

What a fun weekend! We celebrated all weekend but had a special day on Saturday since we work on Sundays. It was just a relaxing day with food, shopping and naps. Does he know me or what?! Sunday we cooked out with my family and you would have thought it was Nate’s bday bc he had so many new toys.

I think I like Mother’s Day! It makes me appreciate my Mom even more! I don’t mean Mother’s Day but just being a Mom myself.
